Stretching for cyclists

I came across some great cycling stretches that will improve your balance, flexibility and power on a bike. It’s yoga-esque but it’s easy enough for me to do and I’m no good at yoga.

As I continue to mull over the instances of the past week I am continually reminded of each of you, our efforts and our cause. The week was amazing and filled with accomplishments and events I’ll never forget including meeting children that your efforts help, to having a homeless man ride with us in Fort Worth.

I and those you help thank you for riding in Bike Out Hunger. Next year’s dates and route will be announced within a couple of weeks. So keep hitting this site and I’m continuing posts on riding tips and ways to help people in your area of the world break the cycle of hunger.

Tour de Pepper

One day of last week we rode through Dublin and our stretch point sponsor was Cottonwood Church who also puts on the Tour de Pepper ride. I just signed up for the 70-mile ride and would like to encourage you to do the same. I’m setting up a Team Bike Out Hunger and one of the ride managers, who owns Dublin Bottling Company, will introduce us as riders and our cause. I’d love to have a large showing in our jerseys.
