It’s a Date

Several of you have asked when the 2013 Bike Out Hunger ride will be. The dates we have settled on are Monday, April 22, 2013 – Saturday, April 27, 2013.

The tentative route is Houston to Waco to Athens to Tyler and ending in Dallas. As we did this year, we will have a group leaving from Dallas on Sunday, April 21, 2013 for our determined starting point and we’ll end mid-day on Saturday, April 27.

I’ve had a challenge to increase the number of participants to 100, so get to recruiting and let me know how I can help you help the cause.

Put the ride and the online registration date on your calendar.  And e-mail or contact me in any way with your questions.

Registration open on May 30.

Stretching for cyclists

I came across some great cycling stretches that will improve your balance, flexibility and power on a bike. It’s yoga-esque but it’s easy enough for me to do and I’m no good at yoga.
